Grappa is a brandy obtained by distillation of the pomace of grapes harvested and vinified exclusively in Italy. Based on the length of aging, a Young, Aromatic, Aged and Riserva Aged grappa is distinguished. The last two remain to refine for more than 12 months and for more than 18 months in wood. Depending on the type, grappa finds the ideal combination with desserts based on spices or chocolate, if aged in barrels, or with desserts based on fruit and semifreddo, in the case of aromatic herbs. |
